Predicting which LEGO F1 Collectible Race Cars are going to sell out
We’re predicting which LEGO 71049 F1 Collectible Race Cars will sell out first, making them harder to find than any others.
With every LEGO Collectible Minifigures series, there’s always at least one minifigure that disappears sooner than the rest. Series 27’s was Wolfpack Beastmaster, which was chronically difficult to find even with the power of Brick Search’s minifigure scanner.
Although 71049 F1 Collectible Race Cars don’t include minifigures, there are sure to be some cars that are more popular than others. Thankfully, we think we can make some pretty close predictions for which ones will be hardest to find, based on the LEGO Speed Champions that came before.
77242 Ferrari SF-24, 77243 Oracle Red Bull Racing RB20, and 77245 Aston Martin Aramco F1 AMR24 all went on back order first in multiple locations around the world in LEGO.com, suggesting they’re among the most popular of the LEGO Speed Champions Formula 1 wave.
That suggests that those teams are the most in demand among LEGO Formula 1 fans – so surely the same could be said for LEGO Collectibles. If you’re after a full set, that might mean you’ll be searching high and low for the Ferrari, Red Bull, and Aston Martin.

We’d also expect that the Formula 1-branded car would also be tricky to find. The F1 printed tile on the rear wing and the Formula 1 colours would make it a tempting addition for any motorsports fan who perhaps only wants a couple of brick-built cars.
Of course, we’re just making informed guesses here; we won’t know which cars will be most popular until they hit shelves and builders can start buying. Thankfully, whichever way it shakes down, you’ll be able to make sure you only buy the collectible race cars you want, without risking any duplicates, by scanning with Brick Search.
The app’s best-ever minifigure scanner will read the scannable code on the base of a 71040 F1 Collectible Raced Cars box and instantly display the result in the same screen. Not only that but multiple boxes can be scanned at one time and the minifigure scanner also works without an internet connection, making it the quickest and most convenient minifigure scanner ever.
