Price slashed on retiring LEGO Marvel Sanctum Sanctorum

LEGO Marvel 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum is now slated to retire by the end of 2024, so make sure you don’t miss out by taking advantage of a spellbinding saving at Amazon.

The second LEGO Marvel modular building – sandwiched between 76178 Daily Bugle and 76269 Avengers Tower – is also the closest fit to the LEGO Group’s regular modular buildings (given it’s not a towering skyscraper), so arguably the most versatile of the three superhero sets. But it’s also the first one on the chopping block, as the LEGO Group has moved up its retirement date to the end of 2024.

That means the clock is ticking for 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum, which usually retails for £214.99. The good news is that you can secure your copy right now for only £179.99 at Amazon, saving £35 on the 2,708-piece set. Amazon’s LEGO Marvel deals are famously volatile, so head over and take advantage of this price before it jumps back up.

Inspired by events from Avengers: Infinity War and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, this Infinity Saga set gives us a fully-enclosed version of the Sanctum Sanctorum for the first time. Built to the modular building format with removable floors and a complete interior, it’s packed with references to the Marvel Cinematic Universe inside and out.

76218 Sanctum Sanctorum also includes a plentiful mix of characters from the MCU, with Doctor Strange, Sinister Strange, Dead Strange, Wong, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Baron Mordo, Ebony Maw and Scarlet Witch in the box. It might not hit the same literal heights as the Bugle or Avengers Tower (because it’s shorter, see), but this is still one LEGO Marvel set you shouldn’t miss.

Head over to Amazon to snap it up right now for only £179.99. If you’ve missed out on that price, keep an eye on our LEGO deals page for all the best offers, and subscribe to our newsletter to get the latest bargains direct to your inbox.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
