Protect Gotham with new LEGO Batman sets out today

LEGO Batman is back in a big way and now beyond huge sets as three new models launch for August, celebrating the 1989 movie.

It’s the summer of Michael Keaton’s Batman in 2023 with a variety of new sets for DC and Batman fans to collect and display, including one in a familiar way. 76265 Batwing: Batman vs The Joker is part of the new trio, but sets itself apart for a few reasons.

Head to the official online store now and take a look at the new LEGO Batman builds.

While LEGO Batmobiles of all shapes and sizes are fairly common, Batwings are rarer by comparison. The iconic bat-shaped design featured in the 1989 Michael Keaton Batman movie and the LEGO designers have tackled the vehicle once again in 76265 Batwing: Batman vs The Joker, including Batman and The Joker minifigures.

However, it doesn’t just have to stand on a shelf or balance against a wall. Like its bigger iteration, 76161 1989 Batwing, 76265 Batwing: Batman vs The Joker can be hung on a wall, taking up a lot less space.

The new trio of LEGO Batman sets is available now online and in LEGO stores and here’s everything you need to know about them.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
