Retell The LEGO Story with new LEGO Ideas activity

A new LEGO Ideas activity is asking builders to look back to the company’s origins and retell The LEGO Story through the lens of their builds.

LEGO Ideas activities offer a chance for builders to impress other users with their models and designs with no physical prizes on offer other than bragging rights. Each one carries a specific theme, whether it be a seasonal event or even a building technique.

However, the most recent activity is looking to the past, on the origins of the LEGO Group as builders can remember The LEGO Story in their entries. If you need a reminder on The LEGO Story, you can check out the video embedded below.

Any part of The LEGO Story can be recalled for the LEGO Ideas event, such as the tragic factory fires or the inspiration for the first moulding machine. Builders are encouraged to be their usual creative selves, but make sure to follow the rules laid out on the activity page for a chance at being featured on the platform’s social media.

In other LEGO Ideas news, another project was recently added to the review stage, with a build heavily inspired by a specific UK street. Alternatively, a new Jurassic World set bears a striking resemblance to one of the theme’s past original models.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
