Retired LEGO DC minifigure to return in magazine
The LEGO DC magazine has beaten that of Marvel when it comes to minifigures being offered before their retirement, which is good news for fans.
With an upcoming issue of LEGO Marvel’s magazine to include a Captain America minifigure days before it retires, the LEGO DC magazine is taking it one step further, bringing back a minifigure that disappeared nearly a full year ago. Bricky_news via Horgasch on Instagram has revealed that the light grey Batgirl minifigure is to be featured in an upcoming issue of the magazine.

This is the same minifigure as 76272 The Batcave with Batman, Batgirl and The Joker, complete with her material cape and a grappling gun. This minifigure was exclusive to the retired LEGO Batman set, which left shelves for good in December 2024.

A release date for this issue of the German magazine is not confirmed on the preview page, but the timing of this issue (featuring the preview) being found suggests that it will either be available at some point next month or in December. Other regions in Europe should add a month to that, but the minifigure gifts have always been the same between regions.
Look out for this issue of the LEGO DC magazine in the future to add the minifigure to your collection. It will pair well with 76300 Arkham Asylum and its different Batgirl minifigure. It will be worth keeping track of alongside LEGO Marvel’s future magazine, featuring a rare minifigure that is retiring soon.
