Retiring LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina is back in stock

This might well be your last chance to pick up the retiring LEGO Star Wars 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina as the UCS set is back in stock once more.

After a brief return to the official online store exactly one month ago today, 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina is available again in the UK and Europe following another stock shortage before its retirement. It’s already gone for good in the US and given how close we are to December, this may well be the very last chance to add the model to your collection for the standard retail price.

Finding the UCS cantina after it has been retired at the end of December and after it sells out next is going to be more of a challenge as you’ll be relying entirely on the secondary market where sellers are surely going to be selling it for a higher cost than the standard price of £344.99.

It depicts an iconic Star Wars location from the original trilogy and there’s a lot more to look forward to in this set to justify a purchase. The biggest reason to add it to your collection is the extensive array of exclusive minifigures including species that we’ll probably never see again in another LEGO Star Wars set unless the theme returns to the cantina. This includes the cantina band and a Devaronian with a unique moulded head piece. For a closer look at the minifigures, check out our review.

The 3,187-piece model is currently available for £344.99 in the UK and €399.99 in Europe but it is scheduled to retire in less than two months. When it next sells out, there’s a good chance it will be gone for good far ahead of the December 31, 2024, retirement date. These dates are only when the LEGO sets will have retired by at the latest and the LEGO Group has likely stopped producing further copies of them already.

You can see what else is retiring across every LEGO theme by clicking here. For US enthusiasts, the set is currently listed as ‘Sold Out’ and usually this means that it will not be restocked again. That said, this isn’t always the case and we’ll be sure to let you know if the cantina suddenly reappears in the region.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
