Retiring LEGO Star Wars UCS set remixed for The Mandalorian movie

A retiring LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series set has been remixed, ready for The Mandalorian and Grogu movie next year.

From one reimagined LEGO Star Wars Razor Crest creation to the next, one enthusiast has taken on the inevitable challenge of remixing the biggest Razor Crest model with a new paint job ready for the 2026 Star Wars movie. As soon as the LEGO community saw the new and recoloured Razor Crest in the trailer for The Mandalorian & Grogu, recoloured models were inevitable, including for the colossal 75331 The Razor Crest.

Ahead of its retirement later this year, SaltyMove on Reddit has taken their copy of 75331 The Razor Crest and modified the official design to incorporate the new yellow stripes seen in the trailer. It adds a more distinct splash of colour to the otherwise grey model beyond the small yellow stripes featured in the first ship’s design.

The fan has not yet shared a parts list for the build. The changes only impact the top of the build and shouldn’t be too challenging to pursue for yourself using the original build and recolouring some of the pieces accordingly.

Those who would like to recreate this build will want to pick up 75331 The Razor Crest quickly, as the Ultimate Collector Series model is confirmed to retire at the end of the year, at which point it will be harder to find and it almost certainly will become more expensive.

The Mandalorian & Grogu is coming to theatres on May 22, 2026. The retiring 75331 The Razor Crest is available now for £519.99 / $599.99 / €599.99. Check out our dedicated retiring page to see what else is retiring later this year.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
