Rumoured LEGO Black Friday GWP details surface

A LEGO gift-with-purchase is rumoured to be coming for Black Friday, joining an already-confirmed set-exclusive GWP.

The usually reliable Clay Bricks on Instagram has reported rumours of LEGO Black Friday GWPs via Boo-urns, a relatively new rumour source but one that’s been corroborated by the trustworthy Brick Clicker. If the rumours are to be believed, we can expect at least one additional GWPs during Black Friday, joining 40729 Shackleton’s Lifeboat, which is exclusive to 10335 The Endurance.

40699 Retro Record Player is said to accompany all LEGO purchases of over $250. Those are some pretty high thresholds for GWPs, so we’d expect the sets to be fairly substantial and detailed. As always, these GWPs should stack, so purchases of 10335 The Endurance would earn you all three freebies.

This GWP is said to be available for LEGO Insiders Weekend 2024 (November 23 and 24) and then return, if stocks allow, on November 29 until December 2, during Black Friday proper.

The line-up of promotions running throughout the end of the year is starting to fill up, with a recent early reveal of two other festive GWPs, coming later in the year after Black Friday. We’ve summed up the GWPs, both confirmed and rumoured in the table below.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
