Rumoured Ahsoka shuttle is LEGO’s chance to mix up display options

Star Wars ships all have their unique ways of flying and taking off and one rumoured ship tied to Ahsoka could be the perfect time for the LEGO Group to offer different display options.

The standard display possibilities for LEGO Star Wars ships are usually one of three options pictured below: brick-built feet attached to the ship or a variation on the black UCS display stand, often paired with some sort of information plaque.

However, there could be a ship on the way that would allow LEGO Star Wars designers to flex their creative skills a little further. According to Instagram user 1414falconfan (via Reddit user FluffySky6), 75362 Ahsoka’s T-6 Shuttle could be on its way sometime this year. This is the very same ship that Ahsoka travelled to the planet Lothal in to pick up Sabine Wren, before the pair began their search for Ezra Bridger. With all three of the characters appearing in the first Ahsoka trailer, we can only assume that this plot will be the driving force of the show – and that the T-6 shuttle will play a key role.

This ship has already been recreated with LEGO bricks in 2011’s 7931 T-6 Jedi Shuttle. Now, 12 years later, we’d be keen to see them push the display options a little further. A T-6 shuttle has a rotating engine block and cockpit that spin with the rest of the ship when landed or in flight. For an extra dynamic display option, a stand that allows you to pose the T-6 both horizontally and vertically.

Not only would this let you have more variety within LEGO Star Wars displays with several ships but it would also save space if you can leave the brick-built ship to rest vertically.

Of course, this is only speculation on what we would like to see for now. Until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group, we won’t know whether the T-6 is even on the way for sure. Until then, here’s a reminder for all the rumoured and confirmed LEGO Star Wars sets throughout the rest of the year.
