More details on rumoured LEGO BrickHeadz 40748 Batman 8-in-1

More details have emerged on the rumoured LEGO 40748 Batman 8-in-1, a BrickHeadz set that’s poised to include a selection of the most iconic Batsuits from the past 85 years.

The Dark Knight is celebrating his 85th birthday in 2024, and the LEGO Group is getting in on the fun with a fresh wave of LEGO Batman sets arriving on shelves in June. Following on a month later is said to be 40748 Batman 8-in-1, a brand new 325-piece set that’s now slated to come with pieces to assemble one of eight different Batsuits as a BrickHeadz statue. Brick Clicker reports that the suits will include:

  • The classic blue and grey comic book suit
  • Adam West’s 1960s suit
  • Michael Keaton’s 1989 suit
  • Batman: The Animated Series suit
  • Christian Bale’s The Dark Knight suit
  • Ben Affleck’s armoured grey Batman v Superman suit
  • The LEGO Batman Movie suit
  • Robert Pattison’s The Batman suit

Each one is expected to feature unique and exclusive printed pieces. And while you’ll only be able to assemble one at a time, ultimately ending up with a single character on your shelf, the surplus parts mean that 40748 Batman 8-in-1 will apparently retail for $19.99 – or twice the usual price of a single BrickHeadz character.

If you want to display all eight simultaneously, you might be better off buying the additional core elements in bulk rather than snapping up eight copies of the set, but we’ll know for sure if and when the LEGO Group reveals and releases 40748 Batman 8-in-1. For now, head over to LEGO.com to check out and pre-order (where available) the June 2024 LEGO Batman sets.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
