Rumoured LEGO Friends summer 2024 sets may be in Fortnite LEGO Island
One of the new official LEGO Islands may be giving us a peek at LEGO Friends’ summer 2024 range, specifically for its rumoured camping wave.
The new LEGO Cat Island Adventure LEGO Island in Fortnite features a few existing sets including 41757 Botanical Garden, 41736 Sea Rescue Center and 41734 Sea Rescue Boat as well as a few custom models, differentiated by the fact that they aren’t open on the back like the official LEGO sets.
The custom models in the experience include a cabin design that is modified in some cases but otherwise copied across the island for various lodgings. However, two other builds on the island aren’t enclosed at the back much like LEGO Friends sets would be for play. Their colour scheme isn’t similar to that of LEGO Friends either.
A dock on blue plates and a large treehouse area can be found in LEGO Cat Island Adventure with sizes and subject matters that match up with two rumoured LEGO Friends summer 2024 sets.
Namely, 42626 Water Sports for $69.99 and 42631 Camping Treehouse for $129.99 appear to match up with these two mysterious LEGO Cat Island Adventure builds that appear to be designed similar to the other official sets and not the cabins with closed backs.
Both have a camp theme which is rumoured to be the subject of some summer 2024 sets too, though nothing has been officially confirmed. Combined with another mystery LEGO Friends model spotted earlier this year, this might be our best look at LEGO Friends’ summer 2024 range yet. It should also be noted that the dock has a gear for a mechanism too, which would not be needed in Fortnite unless it was designed to be physically played with.
Take this report with caution as these may be custom creations designed specifically for the LEGO Cat Island Adventure LEGO Island within Fortnite. Their designs compared to the cabins suggest otherwise though. Here’s what else is confirmed and rumoured for LEGO Friends this year.
