More rumoured LEGO sets for 2023, including a potential Easter GWP

A number of fresh rumours have appeared online regarding more potential LEGO sets that may arrive in 2023, as well as a possible Easter GWP.

The last few days have brought plenty of rumours regarding potential future LEGO sets, even if the information that’s emerging may just be speculation for now. Hints of upcoming models have included possible Star Wars, Batman, Marvel, Harry Potter and Disney builds, although it should be noted that none of the sets have been confirmed by the LEGO Group at all.

A new wave of rumours has now emerged, with even more releases reported to be on the way this year. German price comparison site brickmerge.de is the source of the details once again, with a number of previously-unseen sets appearing as listings. These include 40641 Birthday Cake, a 211-piece model, 40643 Jade Rabbit coming in at 288 pieces and 40649 Up-Scaled Minifigure, said to feature 654 pieces. All three rumoured LEGO sets are mentioned as having a release date of June 2023.

In addition, the site also lists what may be an upcoming LEGO Friends polybag in June in the shape of 30635 Beach Cleanup, said to clock in at 52 pieces, plus a 368-piece 40587 Easter GWP reported to be launching March 16, 2023. First rumoured in August last year, the latter set seems to follow the numbering convention of other promotional GWP models and would certainly arrive in time for the annual festive period.

As usual, all of the above rumours remain merely speculation for now and have no basis in fact until such time as they’re confirmed by the LEGO Group.
