Rumoured list of LEGO Monkie Kid summer 2022 sets surfaces

A rumoured list of LEGO Monkie Kid summer 2022 sets has surfaced, suggesting that the theme will continue to dive into the legends.

Promobricks are reporting that LEGO Monkie Kid is getting the following three sets in the summer, with prices also detailed as part of the rumour:

80037 Dragon of the East – $79.99, June 1
80038 Monkie Kid’s Team Van – $129.99, June 1
80039 The Heavenly Realms – $179.99, June 1

The source has previously been accurate with rumours of 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine before it was officially revealed, but the list should still be taken with caution until officially announced by the LEGO Group.

The Heavenly Realms may have already been teased in 80036 The City of Lanterns with a poster advertising the 6D IMAX film named Havoc in Heaven. That poster included a temple sitting within the clouds as the Monkey King looked towards it.

The prices suggest it could be an expensive year for LEGO Monkie Kid enthusiasts, especially after the initial 2022 range which included the likes of 80036 The City of Lanterns and 80035 Monkie Kid’s Galactic Explorer.

These sets seem likely to be based on the latest, third season of Monkie Kid. Currently, rumours are that the second season will arrive on Amazon Prime Video in the UK later this year.
