Save 20% on 10220 Volkswagen T1 Camper Van – Black Friday deals

LEGO.com has knocked 20% off LEGO Creator Expert 10220 Volkswagen T1 Camper Van for Black Friday.

The 2011 set is thought to be retiring imminently, so this may be your last chance to pick it up. Thankfully, you can now do so at a discount for LEGO.com’s Black Friday shopping event. If you’ve managed to hold off this long, your time has finally come.

That brings the cost down from its RRP of £84.99 / $119.99 to just £67.99 / $95.99. It’s a great price for the nine-year-old set, particularly given its RRP has only increased by £5 (and 0$!) in the years since it launched. And with 1,134 pieces in the box, the classic Creator Expert vehicle offers up a fun build, too.

10220 Volkswagen T1 Camper Van isn’t the only Creator Expert vehicle thought to be leaving the LEGO line-up this year. The company has also reportedly ceased production of 10252 Volkswagen Beetle. Unfortunately, that set hasn’t been discounted for Black Friday.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
