Save 40% on LEGO CITY 60228 Deep Space Rocket and Launch Control

Amazon has slashed 40% off LEGO CITY 60228 Deep Space Rocket and Launch Control in its latest Prime Day lightning deal.

Last summer’s range of real-world space sets are due to retire by the end of 2020. That means this might be your last chance to pick up one of the wave’s flagship sets.

The 837-piece model normally retails for £89.99, but Amazon Prime members can currently grab it for just £53.99. That’s a hefty £36 off the original price, and an extra 19% off Amazon’s current ‘non-deal price’.

At the time of writing, 33% of the current stock had been claimed. As with all Prime Day deals, then, don’t hang about if it’s on your wish list. In fact, most of the online retailer’s LEGO deals have already been snapped up, including LEGO Star Wars 75277 Boba Fett Helmet and LEGO Technic 42099 4×4 X-treme Off-Roader.

60228 Deep Space Rocket and Launch Control bagged the Construction Toy of the Year award at New York Toy Fair 2020, so you could definitely do a lot worse than to add it to your LEGO collection.

Head over to Amazon to see the remaining Prime Day deals before the event ends at midnight tonight. Anyone wanting to get these deals who doesn’t have a Prime account can sign up for a free trial or sign up for a single month, then cancel once the products have been dispatched.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
