School’s out for LEGO Friends as summer sets revealed

The summer range of LEGO Friends sets have been revealed by a Dutch retailer, showcasing the new look for HeartlakeCity High School.

LEGO Friends has already had a few of its summer wave revealed thanks to Van der Muelen, but now the rest of the sets have been unveiled by Ottosimon.

The friends are off to the forest and around their home of HeartlakeCity this summer as the new models vary in size and location with everything from cubes to camper vans covered.

The summer range of cubes focuses on the character’s hobbies with everything from gaming to swimming being the theme of the sets. Meanwhile, the larger sets don’t venture to the magic fair like the other revealed models do, but instead journey to the forest for a holiday of riding horses and camping under the stars.

One of the highlights for the wave though is the new High School, which features room for classes including Drama and Art as well as space for eating lunch and playing basketball.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
