Scooby-Doo mysteries and 1950s nostalgia join LEGO Ideas review

The second LEGO Ideas review of 2026 has seen two more submissions reach the 10,000-vote milestone, including a second Scooby-Doo set and a classic piece of American iconography.

With the second review running from May to September, we are now roughly halfway through the qualification period. A total of 47 projects have reached the required 10,000 fan votes, meaning the final number could come close to the 97 submissions that made it into the first review of 2026.

The two latest submissions are wildly different but equally exciting, bringing a classic cartoon adventure to life alongside a quintessential piece of American culture.

Up first is SandorStef’s 1950s American Drive-in Diner With Roller Skating Girls, and while the designer has not listed a piece count or minifigure count, the build appears to be a large-scale creation packed with minifigures.

Inspired by the charm and atmosphere of classic American diners, the project features an iconic diner building, neon lighting and vintage cars.

The designer set out to recreate the cosy feeling of a 1950s American diner and the sense of community that surrounded them. The addition of a jukebox helps complete the feeling of stepping back in time, while the set is designed to work as both a play experience and a display piece.

The second submission to hit the milestone is Tobnacs_Bricks’ Scooby-Doo! Campfire Mysteries, which is the second Scooby-Doo-themed project to reach the required 10k votes during this review. 

The 2,192-piece diorama recreates the mystery, humour and adventure that define the beloved franchise.

Inspired by the 2010 film Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare and the franchise’s Loch Ness monster storyline, the build features a spooky forest setting, a campfire, the Mystery Machine and a mysterious creature lurking nearby. 

The project is packed with hidden details, including Nessie, a glowing-eyed tree, hidden treasure and plenty of fan-favourite Easter eggs.

Both projects now have a chance of becoming official LEGO Ideas sets when the review period ends in September.

There are currently 47 projects in the second 2026 LEGO Ideas review, and with half of the qualification window still remaining, that number could grow massively.
