See LEGO Ideas 21323 Grand Piano in action

A new video shows LEGO Ideas 21323 Grand Piano working, both being played and playing automatically.

LEGO Ideas continues to be the theme that pushed innovation in the LEGO Group’s portfolio, with 21323 Grand Piano offering a working piano that can both be played and play automatically thanks to Powered Up elements. The 3,662 set will be available from LEGO.com on August 1, priced at £319.99, $349.99 or €349.99.

In this video, fans can get a glimpse of the working set. It shows how it can be used with an associated app to either play a song or set a song to play then watch the keys magically move.

Donny Yen, the designer of the original fan submission that received 10,000 votes and went viral online, has a mention in the set – his name appears along with a tune he composed.

“When I’m not building with LEGO bricks, I’m teaching, tuning or writing music on my piano,” says Donny. “So, when I first discovered LEGO Ideas, I knew I wanted to build something that not only combined my two passions, but also looked visually stunning. It’s truly an honour to see my idea brought to life by the talented people at the LEGO Group and I hope it brings joy to all the other music fans who voted for the idea on the LEGO Ideas platform.”
