Collecting LEGO Insiders points can vary from region to region, so there’s no universal rule for how much you can redeem in vouchers for every point you earn. Still 5% cashback is a fairly straightforward way of looking at it – and that’s risen to 10% for the next few days in the LEGO Group’s current double points event.
Even 10% cashback can be hard to visualise, so we thought we’d round up some of the sets that will instantly earn you enough points to redeem a £50 voucher. That means buying any one of these sets will earn you £50 off your next LEGO shop – a welcome saving in the build-up to Christmas.
Admittedly, all of the sets that will earn you that amount of points are on the pricier end of the spectrum. Nonetheless, if they were on your wishlist anyway, now is surely the time to bite the bullet. It’s also well worth remembering that long-term LEGO collectors will likely have some LEGO Insiders points in their account already, so you might even qualify for an even bigger discount. Note that any points gathered under the LEGO VIP program were instantly carried over to LEGO Insiders during the rebrand.
Looking at an example of 75192 Millennium Falcon, easily the most detailed LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon ever made, you’d usually earn 5,880 points for purchasing it from LEGO.com or a physical LEGO store. That’s already more than enough for a £20 voucher but during the current double points event you’ll earn an enormous 11,760 points. That’s far past the 8,000 points you need for a £50 voucher and even getting close to the 16,000 points you’ll need for a £100 voucher. Combine it with any points you might have in your account already and you might be on your way to a substantial discount.
