Six LEGO Technic double VIP purchases to get all three GWPs

We’ve gathered up some LEGO Technic orders that would not only get you double VIP points, but also get you over the threshold for all three GWPs right now.

The LEGO Group’s VIP days are live now, with everything you need to know about them here. With double VIP points on all LEGO City, Friends, Harry Potter, and Technic sets, you can also score a number of gifts-with-purchase. 40512 Fun & Funky VIP Add-on Pack is free with all orders above £45 / $50 / €50, while 40580 Blacktron Cruiser and 40581 BIONICLE Tahu and Takua are reserved to orders of at least £200 / $220 / €220. However, these thresholds stack, so spending over £200 will get you all three.

That means that spending £200 or more on LEGO Technic sets will not only earn you double VIP points (accounting for around 10% cashback rather than the usual 5%), but also get you all three free LEGO gifts. There are five Technic sets that can manage this on their own, but we’ve also thrown in one order of two sets if the large LEGO Technic sets aren’t quite your style.

6 – 42146 Liebherr Crawler Crane LR 13000

42146 Liebherr Crawler Crane LR 13000 is available to pre-order now, with shipping starting from its release date on August 1, 2023. Even though the ship won’t ship yet, adding it to your basket now does appear to qualify you for all three GWPs, so (although you’ll need to wait for it to ship), now is as good a time as any to get your order in for the enormous crane if you were planning to. With double VIP points in action, this will earn you a whopping 9,280 loyalty points approximately.

5 – 42143 Ferrari Daytona SP3

At £389.99, 42143 Ferrari Daytona SP3 will take you well over the minimum spend for the GWPs, as well as earn you 6,240 points on your LEGO VIP account. Its striking red exterior conceals an authentic V12 engine with moving pistons with all the accuracy and detail that LEGO Technic sets of this scale are known for.

4 – 42130 BMW M 1000 RR

Sticking close to the £200 threshold at £214.99, 42130 BMW M 1000 RR is the most budget-friendly way to get all three GWPs, while still scoring double LEGO Technic VIP points. Coming with its own stand and developed in partnership with BMW, the brick-built bike captures every curve in a build process that follows the real-life assembly process for the actual bike for an even more authentic experience.

3 – 42131 App-Controlled Cat D11 Bulldozer

Earning you approximately 6,880 VIP points, 42131 App-Controlled Cat D11 Bulldozer features various true-to-life mechanisms, including adjustable tracks and a remote-controlled blade, ripper, and ladder. To do so, you’ll need the CONTROL+ app but even without that, the 3,854 piece model is impressive enough as a display piece at over 57cm long.

2 – 42115 Lamborghini Sián FKP 37

42115 Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 makes quite the statement in its vibrant green colour. With double VIP points, you’ll earn around 6,240 by buying the £389.99 set right now, as well as get well past the minimum thresholds for all three GWPs. No detail has been missed, from the authentic console and seats to the detailed V12 engine under the bonnet and its movable pistons.

1 – 42156 PEUGEOT 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid Hypercar & 42141 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car

If none of these big-ticket LEGO Technic sets are tickling your fancy, you could also split your money across two sets and still get across the threshold while earning a sizable amount of points at the same time. For example, racing fans might like to take pieces of both Formula 1 and Le Mans home by buying 42156 PEUGEOT 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid Hypercar and 42141 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car. With a combined price of £329.98, you’ll be entitled to all three gifts and earn yourself 5,440 points to spend on future LEGO orders.

To make the most of these offers, you’ll need to checkout before July 15, or while stocks last in the case of the GWPs.

And Australia gets a Lego sleeping bag and Lego cooking moulds. Lame Lame Lame. Once again we’re treated to GWPs for under 10 yo. I’m not burning over $320 for lame GWPs.
Honestly they must put 0 thought into these offers.
