Sold-out LEGO 2026 sets skyrocket on eBay
As is often the case with new sets and the secondary marketplace, some of the sold-out LEGO 2026 sets are skyrocketing in price on eBay.
From LEGO Stranger Things to Speed Champions, the January 2026 new set selection has seen many models quickly run out of stock. While restocks will occur eventually, those who can’t wait can still find them on the secondary marketplace, such as eBay, but at incredibly high prices relative to their RRP or value.
Stranger Things’ new sets have been particularly vulnerable to selling out, with 11370 Stranger Things: The Creel House listed for anywhere between £274.99 to £414.99 with the gift-with-purchase. The standalone Stranger Things model will return, eventually, but that gift is likely gone for good officially.

To get 40891 Stranger Things: WSQK Radio Station on its own, get ready to part with over £120 for the 234-piece model. Unfortunately, that model is not available any more and is unlikely to return to LEGO.com at any point in the future as an early incentive to pick up 11370 Stranger Things: The Creel House.

Beyond LEGO Stranger Things, a specific NINJAGO 2026 model has proven to be a popular topic on the secondary market after it sold out fast worldwide. 71866 Ninja Character Display‘s RRP is £34.99 / $44.99 / €39.99, but you’ll need at least £10 more than that on the secondary marketplace. Listings for 71858 Four Weapons Blacksmith aren’t as common, but generally go for £110 with the minifigures instead of £89.99.

Most surprisingly, while listings for 77255 Lightning McQueen and 77256 Time Machine from Back to the Future are reasonable on eBay UK, the more popular movie model is 77252 APXGP Team Race Car. After the F1 Movie set sold out temporarily online, you’ll have to part with nearly double the RRP of £22.99 while you wait for a restock.

Ultimately, it’s better to be patient than to pay these increased prices for sets that were only released a couple of days ago. They will be restocked long before they are retired, and you can double-check when each of these and more models is retiring on our dedicated page.

Can’t help but feel that if these re-sellers were not buying up sets to resell, these wouldn’t sell out as quickly on Lego.com, and just maybe those happy with just one copy of a set would be able to get the thrill of a GWP or the Insider Prices.
