More Spidey and His Amazing Friends confirmed, featuring Fantastic Four

Marvel has announced more episodes of Spidey and His Amazing Friends, introducing the Fantastic Four to the children’s series.

As part of the new Web-Spinners storyline coming to Spidey and His Amazing Friends, more guest characters have been confirmed including Lockjaw, Arnim Zola and The Thing from the Fantastic Four.

New episodes start from August 18 on Disney Channel and Disney Junior, but a release on Disney= in the future seems likely too. The new guests characters join the core cast of Peter, Gwen, Miles, Black Panther, Hulk, Iron Man, Ant-Man, Wasp and Reptil.

While the series itself might not be of interest to everyone, being targeted primarily at younger Marvel enthusiasts, it has received a few LEGO sets complete with unique minifigures.

Four sets released in January 2023 featuring Ms. Marvel, Doctor Octopus, Rhino and more as stylised minifigures. Three more arrived in March including minifigures of Black Panther, Sandman and a few variations on the core trio.

The new series could be a chance for the first Fantastic Four minifigure, but no future LEGO Marvel sets have been confirmed at the time of writing. Click here for the latest guide to every rumoured Marvel model.

Some of the Spidey and His Amazing Friends models are scheduled to retire at the end of 2023, but not all of them will be leaving shelves.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
