Star Wars: Ahsoka Season 2 characters confirmed, including Anakin
Star Wars: Ahsoka Season 2 has been detailed at Star Wars Celebration, confirming many returning characters from Anakin to Ackbar.
The Star Wars: Ahsoka Panel at Star Wars Celebration in Japan has come to a close, going over production for the first season and sharing some exciting details for the second. Multiple characters have been confirmed for the second season, most notably including Baylan Skoll, following both the cliffhanger at the end of the first season and the passing of Irish actor Ray Stevenson.
The character will be recast, with Rory McCann taking on the role. He is most well-known for his work in Game of Thrones and will be continuing the story of the character that Stevenson started.
Similarly, both Admiral Ackbar and Anakin Skywalker were confirmed to return in the second season, but whether the latter will return in flashbacks, via the World between Worlds or as a ghost is not known. Hayden Christensen will be back as Anakin, as he was in the first season.
A release date for Ahsoka Season 2 has not been confirmed just yet, but filming is starting next week. You can catch up on the first day of announcements from Star Wars Celebration by clicking here, and stay tuned for today’s equivalent report.
