Star Wars Celebration panel to reveal the evolution of the LEGO X-wing

The evolution of the humble (yet iconic) LEGO X-wing Fighter will be revealed during an upcoming panel at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023.

Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 will be kicking off in less than a month, with the fan gathering taking place at ExCel London from April 7-10. The event will be coming back to the location for the first time since 2016, with numerous panels to check out, celebrity guests in attendance and exclusive merchandise available.

Confirmed to be taking place on April 8 from 12pm to 1pm is the Collectors Stage, a panel that should prove to be essential viewing for LEGO Star Wars fans. Those at the show will be able to enjoy a number of deep dives that commence with a celebration of the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi, including an in-depth look at all of the sets based on Episode VI, plus a focus on some of lesser-known LEGO Star Wars subthemes.

In addition, the Collectors Stage will cap off its proceedings with a look at how the LEGO Star Wars X-wing Fighter has evolved over the years, from a simple children’s toy to a detailed adult collector’s model. The panel will be hosted by Blocks magazine editor Graham Hancock, James Burns from Jedi News and The Holo-Bricks Archives founder, Jeremy Beckett.

There’s no word on whether the LEGO Group or the LEGO Star Wars design team will be in attendance at the Collectors Stage panel, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted on the event once it’s happened.
