Star Wars Outlaws trailer, season pass and launch date revealed

The launch date has been revealed for Star Wars Outlaws alongside the promised story trailer, details on pre-orders, editions and a season pass.

As promised, the story trailer for Star Wars Outlaws has been shared online while also confirming that we’ll be able to start playing on PC and consoles from August 30. Pre-orders have also been opened, offering early access for those willing to opt for a more expensive edition.

The trailer highlights several new characters and a new faction of the criminal underworld including master criminal Jaylen Vrax and Sliro of the new Zerek Besh crime syndicate. More familiar characters are also featured in the trailer including Jabba the Hutt.

It has also been revealed that pre-orders are now open ahead of an August 30 release date and those who secure their copy of any edition of the game will receive The Kessel Runner Bonus Pack, pictured on the left.

The editions for Star Wars Outlaws include the standard, gold and ultimate editions, ascending in price and content. The main draw to upgrade beyond the standard edition is access to a season pass featuring two DLC packs in the future featuring new stories, quests, and areas as well as a Jabba mission available at launch.

The ultimate edition also includes a pair of cosmetic packs as well as a digital art book. Both the gold and ultimate edition editions include three days of early access to the game too, launching on August 27 instead of August 30.

Star Wars Outlaws will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X and PC on August 30 or August 27 for anyone upgrading their edition.
