Star Wars: The Last Jedi products turn up early
Star Wars: The Last Jedi products, including the latest range of action figures, have started showing up early on eBay and in American stores.
New Hasbro and Jakks action figures based on the new film are not due for release until September 1 when Lucasfilm push the Force Friday II launch event, but as reported by Rebelscum, are already available for sale in select locations. Although every company has different distribution methods, it may be worth fans also looking out for the LEGO Star Wars: The Last Jedi sets trickling out early. The LEGO NINJAGO Movie and DC Super Heroes Justice League sets are not due for release until tomorrow (August 1), but have been found early in stores around the world.
A look at the characters in the first wave of Hasbro action figures gives a hint at the direction Lucasfilm gave to licensees. Many are fan favourite characters that have been available many times, such as C-3PO and Chewbacca, others are newcomers such as Resistance Gunner Paige, and most frustratingly for LEGO fans – one of them is sequel era Luke Skywalker. He is still missing from the first wave of LEGO Star Wars products for The Last Jedi, meaning that like Rey, LEGO collectors ‘know all about waiting’.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi products will be officially launched on September 1.
