Star Wars The Mandalorian & Grogu and more movie dates revealed

Movie release dates for Star Wars The Mandalorian & Grogu, Toy Story 5 and more have been confirmed and updated in a new report.

As noted by The Hollywood Reporter, Disney has revealed new release dates and delays for several upcoming movies from Pixar, Star Wars and beyond.

Toy Story 5 is coming to cinemas on June 19, 2026, after being announced in 2023. Keeping in the main Disney bubble, the live-action Moana has been delayed from June 27, 2025, to July 10, 2026. The sequel to the original animated movie remains scheduled for release on November 29 later this year.

The Mandalorian & Grogu from Star Wars is releasing on May 22, 2026, just after Star Wars Day of that year. May 1, 2026, could be a good time for merchandise based on the movie to release, allowing plenty of time for it to land on shelves and capitalise on both May the 4th and the movie.

Rounding out the announcements, Tron: Ares is debuting on October 10, 2025, and The Amateur has been moved from November 8, 2024, to April 11, 2025.

The announcement of a release date for The Mandalorian & Grogu is the most exciting news from this update, though the likes of Toy Story 5, the live-action Moana and Tron: Ares could relate to future LEGO sets too, based on previous releases. At the time of writing, nothing for any of these projects has been confirmed and they likely won’t be for some time.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
