Star Wars: The Mandalorian trailer released

The trailer for Star Wars: The Mandalorian, the upcoming streaming series for Disney+, has been unveiled at D23 and released online.

Star Wars fans will be introduced to new characters and locations in The Mandalorian, a live action series that is coming to the new Disney+ streaming service. During the D23 convention, a panel revealed new content that will be released on Disney+, including The Mandalorian.

While footage was shared at Star Wars Celebration Chicago earlier this year, this is the first time that anything has been released online. The brief teaser trailer gives a flavour of the new series, which will see Taika Waititi playing IG-11 as well as directing an episode or two.

Earlier today, a poster was shared and D23 guests were able to check out the lead character’s costume.
