There’s still time to get your entries in for LEGO Ideas ’80s contest

You won’t be able to turn back time if you miss the deadline for LEGO Ideas’ ‘If we could turn back time’ contest, so now is your time to enter.

There are two days left to enter the LEGO Ideas ’80s-themed contest, challenging fan builders to submit designs for LEGO sets inspired by an IP from the 1980s. Five of these submissions will then be entered into a fan vote on April 16. The competition has been running for a few weeks now, meaning you’ve only got until April 9 – two days away at the time of writing – to put together your entry.

The LEGO Ideas team stated that projects based on IPs currently being used in various LEGO sets, including Indiana Jones, Tron, Back to the Future and Seinfeld, will not be accepted. However, it’s worth noting that LEGO Dimensions and BrickHeadz are not included, leaving the competition guidelines slightly wider than first thought.

You can read the LEGO Ideas challenge page for more details and guidelines on how to enter but, outside of the IP connection, there’s nothing too different from previous LEGO Ideas challenges.
