Take up the mantle with this LEGO Marvel deal at John Lewis

The LEGO Marvel deals continue in John Lewis‘ latest sale as there’s a huge discount on a display-worth model to be had right now.

31209 The Amazing Spider-Man isn’t the only Marvel model on sale now at John Lewis as LEGO Marvel 76262 Captain America’s Shield is 20% off at the retailer. Featuring 3,128 pieces and one minifigure, 76262 Captain America’s Shield consists of a nearly life-sized recreation of the iconic shield and a display stand to post it and the minifigure on.

It’s not the first life-sized recreation of a Marvel prop in LEGO and it should pair well with the giant Thor’s Hammer, for those who own the retired set. Otherwise, it’s still a decent standalone display item.

76262 Captain America’s Shield has a complex, repeated assembly that should be a challenge to put together spread across a few days. It might also pair well with the currently available LEGO Marvel Infinity Gauntlet set for an Avengers: Endgame display.

The model measures over 47cm in diameter and you can grab 76262 Captain America’s Shield for £143.99 instead of £179.99 at John Lewis in their latest sale. Click here to see what else is available and discounted.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
