Let’s talk about the LEGO Star Wars UCS Venator reveal

75367 Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser is now finally revealed, so where does it sit within the larger LEGO Star Wars world?

Released to commemorate the 20th anniversary of The Clone Wars, LEGO Star Wars 75367 Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser is the first UCS set to be based on this era of Star Wars. However, this isn’t the only element of ‘newness’ that the set is bringing to the table, coming with a marginally low price tag than you might have come to expect from a LEGO Star Wars set of this size, at £559.99 / $649.99 / €649.99 (though, of course, still a mighty sum).

The cutout shape and more varied colours, with red accents throughout the main body of the show and the dual control towers, also suggest this might be a more engaging build process than some of the other UCS ships. A common complaint for some LEGO Star Wars fans is that every new ship is simply bigger and greyer than the last – but the same cannot be said for 75367 Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser.
