The best LEGO June 2025 sets for… play

Dozens of new LEGO sets are almost here, but they’re not all about display, and there’s still plenty for young and young-at-heart fans to interact with.

Whether you’re shopping for yourself or someone else this Sunday, not every LEGO set is intended primarily for display, and you’re encouraged to get hands-on and play with a wide variety of them. Since the June 2025 sets launching later this week include many of these from kid-focused themes such as Bluey and City, there are plenty of play-centric sets that fit into this category.

Here are some of the LEGO sets for play launching later this week, for both young fans and the young at heart.

Jack Yates

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
