The Brick Search CMF 2024 survey is still open and asking for your opinions

There’s still time to take Brick Search’s Collectible Minifigure 2024 survey and have your say on one of the LEGO Group’s most popular themes and the revolutionary app itself.

The Brick Search app wants to know how the introduction of scannable codes on CMF boxes in early 2024 changed your approach to collecting the theme, where you hope the theme goes next and what you’d like to see from Brick Search in the future.

The survey should take about 20 minutes to complete and will provide a window into how LEGO fans view CMFs today, with little more than a month until we can expect the next series on shelves. Have scannable codes made it easier to help find the CMFs you want? Did they cut down on the number of ripped-up boxes discarded on shelves? And what would you like to see next from Brick Search?

Your answers could also help shape the direction of the Brick Search app, which introduced the first-ever minifigure scanner in January 2024. It came after blind cardboard box packaging with scannable codes on the base were used for Series 25 CMFs, building on the blind boxes first used for Marvel Series 2.

Brick Search’s innovative app allowed those codes to be scanned to reveal which minifigure was inside, a massive departure from the long-established practices of CMF collecting and one weighted in favour of the collectors themselves. Having changed how LEGO is collected once, Brick Search is asking for your thoughts on how they could do it again.

The survey has already been taken by hundreds of LEGO fans; add your voice to them via the link below.
