The first US Airport LEGO Store has opened in Salt Lake City

A new LEGO Store has opened in Salt Lake City International Airport, making it the first airport LEGO Store in the US.

As reported by The Moodie Davit Report, the first US airport LEGO Store has now opened at Salt Lake City International Airport, just in time for travellers coming home or visiting family this Christmas.

The Moodie Davit Report toured the new store and provided some images of the inside. The store certainly won’t beat any others in terms of size, but it does stock a wide variety of themes. The new store will also stock exclusive sets only found in other official LEGO Stores.

The opening is thanks to a partnership between the LEGO Group and the Marshall Retail Group. Sitting at the front of the store is a life-size pilot minifigure, built from LEGO bricks. Fans visiting the store can expect to find sets from the usual LEGO themes, including LEGO Art and larger sets such as 21323 Grand Piano.

Thanks to the images taken by The Moodie Davit Report, exclusive sets such as 40426 Christmas Wreath 2-in-1 and 853967 Wooden Minifigure can be spotted, one of which may be about to disappear from stores. Fans travelling through Salt Lake City International Airport might want to add a visit to their plans.
