The LEGO Group celebrates Mario day with special LEGO Super Mario level

Everyone’s favourite plumber just celebrated another unofficial holiday on March 10 and to celebrate, the LEGO group have revealed their own tribute to the Nintendo icon.

If you didn’t already know, Nintendo and its fans have decided that March 10 is Mario day, with the shortened form of the date resembling the name of the video game character.

To celebrate the day, many players and companies remember the Nintendo character’s adventures so far by sharing memories, projects and other celebrations. With Super Mario being one of the most successful theme launches ever, the LEGO Group simply had to join in.

As their own tribute to Mario, an extra special level was shared on Twitter and designed using the now-available LEGO Super Mario sets including all five areas currently in the app, from the green grass to the new Soda Jungle biome.

It’s not easy to pick out exactly what sets were used in the creation of this level, but you can spot parts of 71360 Adventures with Mario Starter Course, 71362 Guarded Fortress Expansion Set, 71364 Whomp’s Lava Trouble Expansion Set and the 2021 model, 71381 Chain Chomp Jungle Encounter.

If you want to play this Mario Day level for yourself and don’t own all of those four sets, you can always pick and choose from other expansion sets, maybe making each line of text a different biome.
