The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part preview screenings in the USA today

Fans in the USA can see The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part first today, ahead of its release on February 8.

Today sees a special one-day advance screening of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part at cinemas across the USA. Approximately 500 cinemas will participate in the screening that is happening ahead of the film’s February 8 release date. AMC, Cinemark, Alamo Drafthouse and Fandango are all participating in the preview, with tickets worth booking in advance as tickets may prove popular.

In this sequel to The LEGO Movie, Emmet, Lucy and friends will head into to the unknown and go to the Systar System, where they will encounter new worlds and characters, including Rex Dangervest, Sweet Mayhem and Queen Whatevra’ Wanabi. It is the fourth animated cinematic release from the collaboration between the LEGO Group and Warner Bros.

The LEGO Group recently revealed a new summer set for The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part theme, 70839 Rexcelsior!. Images of Happy Meal items that will be available in McDonald’s have also been shared online.

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part will be released on February 8, 2019.
