The LEGO VIP Spider-Man Venom minifigure sweepstakes now live following announcement

LEGO VIP members can now swing on over to the VIP Rewards Centre to enter the Spider-Man Venom minifigure sweepstakes following its absence at the official online LEGO Store.

Eager VIP members who went looking for the new sweepstakes last week may have found that the exclusive San Diego symbiote minifigure was missing from the usual sweepstakes spot in the VIP Rewards Centre. Thankfully, this has now been fixed and the sweepstakes have officially begun.

The LEGO Spider-Man Venom minifigure was made exclusively for the San Diego Comic-Con event in 2012 and was given away to just a few lucky attendees. However, the LEGO VIP program has a tendency to offer a second chance to minifigure collectors not attending these events, and last week the symbiote version of Spider-Man was revealed as the latest prize up for grabs. Unfortunately, the option to enter the sweepstakes was nowhere to be found.

Whatever issue was present has now been fixed with one entry into the sweepstakes costing 50 VIP points, and up to 50 entries able to be submitted. The product will come in a sealed acrylic display case and is available to members worldwide. For a full list of eligible countries, check out the VIP Rewards Centre. The sweepstakes will last until February 21.
