The Mandalorian finally debuts in the LEGO Star Wars magazine next month

Din Djarin is finally coming to the official LEGO Star Wars magazine in the UK next month, complete with his Darksaber.

The current issue of Immediate Media’s LEGO Star Wars magazine features Ahsoka in her grey outfit from sets including 75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle, and is available at all good retailers now for £5.99. The splash page for next month’s issue reveals that Din Djarin – or The Mandalorian – will be free with Issue 126, which is due on shelves early September.

This particular flavour of Mando has appeared in five sets to date, including 75348 Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs TIE Interceptor, 75361 Spider Tank and this year’s 75410 Mando and Grogu’s N-1 Starfighter. It’s a slightly modified version of the previous minifigure of Din in his Beskar armour with more refined helmet printing. It’s also available for as little as £2.95 new on BrickLink from a UK seller.

That may make the LEGO Star Wars magazine a little less tempting for those willing to go through the hassle of paying for shipping for this minifigure (if you don’t have one in your collection already), given it’s likely to retail for at least £5.99 when it arrives next month. The Mandalorian’s Darksaber is included to sweeten the deal, but even the two elements that make up that are worth pennies on the aftermarket.

Above all else then this is about convenience for the consumer, and presumably a way for the LEGO Group to shift excess Din Djarin minifigures. It’s been a long time coming too, as Mando originally appeared in the German version of the LEGO Star Wars magazine back in May. The German edition’s August issue includes Darth Maul with a collector’s tin.

The focus for the LEGO Star Wars magazine in 2025 has been almost entirely on minifigures, with highlights including Qui-Gon Jinn and an Imperial Praetorian Guard.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
