The most popular LEGO 2026 sets so far, based on what’s already sold out
Dozens of LEGO 2026 sets are out of stock worldwide, giving us an indication of the most popular new releases so far – and there are a few surprises in the mix.
While a handful of sets sold out in select regions on day one of release at LEGO.com, at least 31 new products are currently temporarily out of stock in the UK, along with several more in the US, Europe and Australia. More still are on back order across all those regions, but it’s the sets that have already completely sold through their initial allocations that give us the best idea of what’s hot for 2026 so far.
Popular licensed LEGO 2026 sets

In IP territory – so licensed sets and the like – themes including Star Wars, Marvel, Speed Champions and Harry Potter have all seen sets slip to ‘out of stock’ status in the UK. The best-sellers so far include 75440 AT-AT, 76334 Epic Battle: Spider-Man vs. Sandman, 76342 Spider-Man vs. Mysterio: The Daily Bugle, 76461 Cornish Pixie, 76460 Hogwarts Castle: Sorting Hat Ceremony, 77255 Lightning McQueen and 77256 Time Machine from Back to the Future.
In fact, all three of the new LEGO Speed Champions 2026 sets – including 77252 APXGP Team Race Car – are out of stock in the UK and Europe, while only the F1 and Pixar cars are available to order (with shipping in 60 days) in the US. In Australia, the wallet-friendly 76335 Spider-Man vs. Ghost Rider Motorcycle (and its exclusive Ghost Rider minifigure) are temporarily out of stock.
Elsewhere, 11370 Stranger Things: The Creel House is still on back order in the UK, Europe and Australia, and is out of stock in the US. Its day-one gift-with-purchase 40891 Stranger Things: WSQK Radio Station is gone for good everywhere and will cost you a pretty penny on the aftermarket now.
Popular in-house LEGO 2026 sets

It’s not just licensed sets that have been snapped up in the first few days of release, though: plenty of homegrown LEGO sets are also proving popular. LEGO City’s new Rides sets are racing off virtual shelves, for example (all four are out of stock in the UK), along with 60487 Yellow Taxi, 60479 Police Prisoner Transport Van and 60498 Tractor.
LEGO Architecture’s newest collision with LEGO Art seems to have gone down well too, as 21064 Paris – City of Love is on back order in the US and out of stock in the UK and Europe. Meanwhile, two LEGO NINJAGO 15th anniversary sets – 71858 Four Weapons Blacksmith and 71866 Ninja Character Display – are either on back order or out of stock completely depending on your region.

Other sold-out sets in at least one territory include 31377 Turtle with a Water Lily Flower, 11508 Daisies, 42675 Unicorn Cake Delivery Car and 42681 Axolotl Adventure Boat. The Friends sets are especially surprising to have disappeared already, but they point to a continued desire for cheaper LEGO sets (coming in at £8.99 apiece) as demand outstrips supply.
It’s worth remembering that all of these LEGO sets will be back in stock eventually (aside from 40891 Stranger Things: WSQK Radio Station), so there’s no need to panic if any on your wishlist are unavailable to order right now. But it’s perhaps worth finding something you’d like to buy if you’re at all interested in January’s other gifts-with-purchase 40779 Year of the Horse and 40913 Vintage Parade Car.
Both those sets (and one bonus DUPLO-themed GWP) are available with qualifying purchases through January 11 (or while stocks last). Check out full details in the table below. If you’re buying anything on back order, it’s worth popping a keychain, 71051 Series 28 Animals minifigure or anything else in stock for immediate delivery on your order to ensure the GWP(s) ship as soon as possible.
