This LEGO Technic set has a hidden feature

A new LEGO Technic summer set has been revealed to have a bonus hidden feature utilising AR technology, at no additional cost to the model.

42129 4×4 Mercedes-Benz Zetros Trial Truck has now landed in the hands of some LEGO YouTubers early, and one has explored the interactive features of the model through the CONTROL+ app. RacingBrick revealed that the new Technic build has a hidden AR function that might help in planning where to display the beast of the build.

When using the CONTROL+ app to operate the model, selecting the options on the top left of the display will show a selection of strange icons. While some of these may seem obvious, the lower left-hand corner’s symbol allows users to place an AR version of 42129 4×4 Mercedes-Benz Zetros Trial Truck anywhere in their surroundings to get hands-on with the digital version.

Since the CONTROL+ app is free to anyone, you could use this feature to explore every detail of the set and decide whether or not it belongs in your official online store haul.
