Three new LEGO NINJAGO 2025 display sets revealed

LEGO NINJAGO’s line of display-focused models is expanding later this year with three new sets, including a unique dragon diorama.

LEGO NINJAGO started to embrace its older audience in 2024 with the launch of 71819 Dragon Stone Shrine and 71821 Cole’s Titan Dragon Mech, seemingly testing the waters for more display-centric models that cater to longtime fans of the theme in a way that the standard sets don’t.

That trial appears to be over as NINJAGO is fully embracing display sets, even mixing in display features into standard sets. Three new NINJAGO summer 2025 models have been revealed with display integrated into their designs, all launching on June 1, 2025.

71846 The Fire Knight Mech

Price: £109.99 / $119.99 / €119.99 Pieces: 996 Release date: June 1, 2025

First up is 71846 The Fire Knight Mech, a dramatic cape-wearing, spear-holding mech locked in battle with an ancient monster emerging from the sea. You can also remove the figure from its base to move between display and play.

The 996-piece set includes posable features for the mech, while the sea monster has movable tentacles. Rounded out with two – Kai with a magical sword, who can be placed inside the mech’s chest, and a fisherman with a paddle in a boat – 71846 The Fire Knight Mech is another installment in the growing collection of more mature LEGO NINJAGO sets.

71847 The Guardian Dragon

Price: £139.99 / $149.99 / €149.99 Pieces: 1,650 Release date: June 1, 2025

71847 The Guardian Dragon has 1,650 pieces and one minifigure, taking a page from LEGO Marvel’s book with a sloped display base and a tall dragon build. The titular Guardian Dragon is perched on a rock over a pond with a floating sword. The box for the set has a unique design as well, which will be worth keeping and displaying alongside the huge model. That’s not to mention the exclusive poster, which is pictured in the background of official imagery.

The level of detail compared to other NINJAGO sets is impressive, demonstrating LEGO theme isn’t afraid to cater to an older audience. Much like 71821 Cole’s Titan Dragon Mech, there’s only one minifigure in the form of a new Master Wu, and the set is aimed at ages 14 and up.

71848 The Temple Bounty

Price: £179.99 / $199.99 / €199.99 Pieces: 2,387 Release date: June 1, 2025

Upon first glance, 71848 The Temple Bounty might seem to be another standard NINJAGO set, but it too embraces display with an angled stand to pose the 2,000-piece Destiny’s Bounty dynamically. This is a first for a Destiny’s Bounty set, and it helps it to stand out from the crowd.

This updated edition of the iconic NINJAGO ship still has moving engines and detailed sails, as well as a dragon design that stretches the length of the ship, rather than just as the figurehead. A full interior with a sushi bar and secrets to discover with the new transparent sword element are included, alongside minifigures of Zane, Cole, Wyldfyre, Nya, Rogue, and Zarkt.

Here’s an updated list of every LEGO NINJAGO set confirmed and rumoured for 2025, adding these new display-centric releases.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
