Trailer for Jedi: Fallen Order videogame debuts at Star Wars Celebration

The first trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has just landed at Star Wars Celebration Chicago.

Before today, news on the upcoming single-player videogame from EA was thin on the ground. All we’ve had to go on is that the game takes place after Order 66, with players assuming the role of a young Jedi Padawan who survived the events of Revenge of the Sith. Now, though, we’ve got our first glimpse of what the game actually looks like, thanks to the brand new trailer.

The game puts players in control of Kal, who’s trying his best to get through life without drawing attention to himself. Obviously, that doesn’t work out, and he soon finds himself in the firing line of the Empire, and, more excitingly, at least one Inquisitor.

Jedi: Fallen Order is one of the three properties getting merchandise on Triple Force Friday, alongside Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and The Mandalorian. While it hasn’t been officially confirmed, then, chances are good that we could see at least one LEGO set based on the game.

It wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen a LEGO set based on a recent Star Wars videogame, either, with 75226 Inferno Squad Battle Pack launching earlier this year.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will arrive on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 15, 2019.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
