Two LEGO Easter gifts-with-purchase available now

The LEGO Group is celebrating Easter with a couple of seasonal gifts-with-purchase, both of which are now available online and in-store with qualifying orders.

Between today (March 25) and April 16, or while stocks last, a £40 / $40 / €40 spend will earn you a free copy of 30583 Easter Bunny. The 75-piece polybag includes a colourful pink, yellow and white bunny accompanied by an egg – or as close as you can get to an egg with angular blocks – in an appropriate scene for the spring season.

If you take your shopping basket to £65 / $65 / €65, meanwhile, you’ll also bag 40527 Easter Chicks, a boxed freebie that was originally unveiled in a LEGO Certified Store in Australia. Any and all LEGO sets will qualify for both of these thresholds, which means spending £65 / $65 / €65 on anything on your wish list will net you both of them in one fell swoop.

That’s only slightly higher than last year’s threshold for 40449 Easter Bunny’s Carrot House, which required a minimum order of £60 / $60 / €60, and is pretty good going all round for two freebies. There’s no predicting how long stock will last of these particular free gifts, so head over to LEGO.com and get your order in if you’re after them.

Pre-orders should also count towards gifts-with-purchase (or at least, they have historically), which feels as good an excuse as any to buy at least one new set in the LEGO Star Wars Diorama Collection

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
