Two more LEGO Speed Champions sets rumoured for summer 2024

Two new rumours have emerged about LEGO Speed Champions sets coming later this summer, revisiting two cars already recreated in the LEGO system.

Thanks to online rumours reported by itavixbrix on Instagram, via brick_clicker, two more LEGO Speed Champions sets could be racing onto shelves in August, hot on the wheels of a trio of sets coming on June 1. Reportedly these will be 76934 Ferrari F40 Supercar and 76935 Nascar Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro Zl1, both expected to retail for $26.99, in keeping with the usual prices for solo LEGO Speed Champions cars, and include 318 and 328 pieces respectively.

Both cars have already been made into LEGO sets before, with the F40 already featuring in the LEGO Speed Champions theme in its Competizione version in 75890 Ferrari F40 Competizione, retired since the end of 2021. It's also been made into a LEGO Creator Expert set, in a set that's also long since been retired: 10248 Ferrari F40. This leaves plenty of room to update the brick-built version of the iconic car.

The Chevrolet Camaro Zl1 also has two existing sets, including one Nascar version like this LEGO Speed Champions set is rumoured to be. LEGO Technic 42153 NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is still on shelves for £44.99 / $49.99 / €49.99, meaning you could own little and large versions of the same car, if you so wanted.

Of course, we won't know for sure whether these two LEGO Speed Champions sets are on the way until we get an official confirmation from the LEGO Group but, if they are indeed on the way, that should be coming relatively soon ahead of the expected August release date.
