Two new LEGO Harry Potter sets available for pre-order

Two brand new LEGO Harry Potter summer 2022 sets are now available to pre-order in the US, Australia and New Zealand.

A total of eight new Wizarding World products are due to launch later this year, with a staggered release across different regions worldwide. Those of us in the UK and Europe can grab them as soon as June 1, while US fans will have to wait until June 19. If you’re in Australia or New Zealand, meanwhile, you’re in for an even longer wait: they’re not debuting down under until August 1.

The majority of those eight sets are still listed as ‘coming soon’ across all regions, meanwhile, with the exception of two: 76406 Hungarian Horntail Dragon and 76407 The Shrieking Shack & Whomping Willow, both of which are available to pre-order in the US, Australia and New Zealand. Hit the links below to head to LEGO.com in your region and secure your copies now.

Why these two sets in particular are available to pre-order, while the rest remain unavailable, isn’t clear at this stage. It does suggest that more of this summer’s LEGO Harry Potter sets may receive the same pre-order treatment ahead of their launch next month (or August), so keep an eye on Brick Fanatics for if and when that happens.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
