Venom: The Last Dance’s first trailer revealed

The first official trailer for the third Venom movie – Venom: The Last Dance – has been revealed, showcasing a new threat to the duo.

After tackling Carnage in the sequel, Venom and Eddie Brock will be back on the big screen later this year in Venom: The Last Dance. The third and final film in the saga releases on October 25 and you can take a look at the trailer by clicking below.

Some highlights of the trailer include a shot of Venom stuck to the side of a plane and Venom taking over a horse as well as a peek at an antagonistic monster in the third film. One scene references a post-credit scene from Spider-Man: No Way Home, in which it was revealed that a small piece of Venom had been left behind in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This plot point appears to have been resolved fairly quickly as an agent places a cup over the symbiote substance, trapping it. Whether this person is from the Marvel Cinematic Universe or whether the post-credit scene will be retconned to take place in the Sony universe is unclear though. Should it be the former, we could be a multiversal adventure as the last movie in the saga.

Though a pair of sets were released to tie in with the release of the second film, nothing is rumoured or currently officially confirmed to tie into Venom: The Last Dance and it might be wise to expect no LEGO Marvel merchandise inspired by the movie this year.

Otherwise, the LEGO Marvel summer 2024 sets are right around the corner and include many models inspired by past Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. You can pick them up starting from August 1.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
