The newly-revealed LEGO Indiana Jones 77015 Temple of the Golden Idol includes an unexpected reference to a classic LEGO theme.
Coming in at 1,545 pieces, 77015 Temple of the Golden Idol is the biggest of the three LEGO Indiana Jones sets arriving on shelves in April. (The fourth, 77014 The Temple of Doom, has been cancelled at the last minute.) And while 77013 Escape from the Lost Tomb probably boasts a bigger number of references, the only 18+ Indy set includes a very specific nod to a 30-year-old minifigure.
You’ll have to check out our latest YouTube video to see who we’re talking about, but it should be a familiar face to LEGO Pirates fans of a certain vintage.
