WATCH: Giant LEGO The Lord of the Rings set rumours grow

Rumours for a giant LEGO The Lord of the Rings set in 2023 continue to grow as a potential piece count and release date surface.

As you can read in our written report, an update to the rumours of a huge LEGO The Lord of the Rings set, recreating Rivendell, suggest that the model could include 6,187 pieces for $499.99.

Said to launch in March 2023, that piece count and release may seem familiar as it’s nearly the same as 71043 Hogwarts Castle, which depicts the location at a smaller scale with microfigures, as well as some minifigures for the Hogwarts Founders.

At the time of writing, this is still only a rumour and it should be taken with a pinch of salt just in case. However, a Rivendell model following the same design philosophy as 71043 Hogwarts Castle could work well to properly depict the location, rather than just one or two minifigure-scale buildings.
