When a LEGO set’s attention to detail is totally on point

The reveal of 76354 S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier came with a little extra razzle-dazzle, thanks to the detail-focused designer of the upcoming LEGO Marvel set.

The LEGO Group has officially revealed 76354 S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, the largest version of the MCU vehicle we’ve seen so far. Coming in at a mighty 3,057 pieces, the latest brick-built take on the craft was first shown to Brick Fanatics at last year’s Fan Media Days event, where we managed to get hands-on with the huge heroic model and soon discovered that the set’s attention to detail is totally on point

In the video below, our very own Matthew talks about how Mark Stafford, the designer behind 76354 S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, added a touch of razzle-dazzle to the unveiling proceedings, before explaining some of the creative decisions behind the development of the LEGO Marvel set.

Those choices included 76354 S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier’s specific minifigure selection, which MCU movies the model draws its inspiration from, why stickers were utilised instead of more printed pieces and even a section of the build the designer personally perceives as a weakness.

76354 S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier is due to launch on June 1, 2026, and the LEGO Marvel model will be priced at £329.99 / $399.99 / €369.99.
