X marks the LEGO House in 40504 A Minifigure Tribute

The new LEGO House 2023 exclusive set, 40504 A Minifigure Tribute, has a map but the LEGO House’s location is the treasure. 

As stated in the press release for 40504 A Minifigure Tribute, the included treasure map in Captain Redbeard’s hand has a secret reference to the designers behind the product. While there could be another Easter egg in this design, there’s at least one reference in its shape 

The shape of the land showcased on the treasure map matches Denmark and the X is about where Billund is located. To the design team behind 40504 A Minifigure Tribute, the town seems to be the real treasure.

Also in the top left corner of the upscaled map is a mini representation of the Black Seas Barracuda. Whether either of these is what the press release was referring to is unknown, though an Easter egg for Billund itself could make sense for a reference to the designer. 

40504 A Minifigure Tribute will be available exclusively from the LEGO House for 599 DKK from March 1, 2023, alongside the last LEGO House set – 40503 Dagny Holm – Master Builder.
